Explosions, heavy gunfire is rocking Maiduguri, a situation that has forced many
residents on the outskirts of the city to run into town while churches were
hurriedly closed.
The incident started at about 7:00 am, Sunday, with exchange of rocket
launchers, heavy gunfire between troops and Boko Haram terrorists near Giwa
Barracks, Molai axis.
